熟悉的Falcons弱点被惩罚，PARIVISION晋级克卢日半决赛

Lost anti-ecos turned the tide on Dust2 and Ancient as Falcons bow out in quarters.

PARIVISION denied Falcons any revenge for BLAST Bounty's grand final by beating them 2-1 in the Cluj-Napoca quarter-finals.

Falcons were talked up as contenders for the trophy in the pre-match desk, but under the lights of the BT Arena they wilted under the pressure — as they have so many times since adding Maxim "⁠kyousuke⁠" Lukin last summer.

That was even with the crowd offering information and their support to Falcons, and as boos greeted every Dzhami "⁠Jame⁠" Ali save and the Russian side's eventual win and post-game interview.

Falcons also won every pistol in the series, and led 10-5 on map one before crumbling in an anti-eco after a Andrey "⁠BELCHONOKK⁠" Yasinskiy quad-kill. At 11-11, Emil "⁠nota⁠" Moskvitin won a 1v3 retake as another radar meme was born, and PARIVISION converted their pick in the extra rounds.

Mirage — the soft underbelly of the PARIVISION map pool, where they have now lost to five different teams in Romania — was a brief respite, but Falcons were snapped back to reality on Ancient when they lost round two to five PARIVISION Glock-18s.

To their credit, the team turned 1-7 to 7-7 after winning yet another pistol, but once the guns came out PARIVISION immediately re-asserted their dominance.

It was five in a row for PARIVISION, who had five match points after Nikola "⁠NiKo⁠" Kovač was one away from a Deagle 1v3, and only needed two to confirm their win.

PARIVISION winning on hard mode

PARIVISION have played 18 maps in Cluj, lost Mirage five times in a row, and won just 30.2% of their pistol rounds (11-25 record).

And yet, they march into the semi-finals as deserved winners over the superstars of Falcons for a second time in 2026.

The hard-working Dastan "⁠dastan⁠" Akbayev-led combine has admitted that they are tired after having just one day off since they began their 2026 bootcamp, but are somehow managing to stave off the burnout and win their first arena match convincingly.

NiKo on mistakes: "It's hurting us results wise and also confidence wise"

NiKo cut a frustrated figure in his post-game chat with James "⁠BanKs⁠" Banks on stage, and it's easy to see why. The Bosnian posted a server-high 1.47 rating but was let down by his team at crucial moments, in those anti-ecos and lost clutches.

kyousuke, more than six months into his Falcons career, is still far from the same player on stage as he is in groups, and the young Russian had a series to forget here too. He started Ancient 0-9, after his whiff in a committed angle in Donut allowed PARIVISION to win their Glock round, and ended the series with -3.47% Swing.

"We are just bad," NiKo said. "We are not winning the rounds we are supposed to win. If we give them the rounds this often this is the result, it's hurting us results wise and also confidence wise."

He went on: "We know we have aggressive players, who like to peek, but we have to minimise those things if you want to win. We have the team to afford mistakes, if it happens once a game, but when it's so often it's really embarrassing.

"It's noticeable that we take wrong steps, we sometimes try and finish the round too fast, sometimes we take a duel too soon, and then sometimes we don't take a duel when we shouldn't. It's a hard situation to tackle right now. Obviously, we don't have the right answer."
